I went to this exhibition at the Kunsthal Museum in Rotterdam last tuesday.
I chose the pieces I liked the most to post here. It was amazing to be able to look at these masterpieces from up close, to see every single detail from the needlework to the embroidery. Had never seen such detailed and perfect work.
(photos were taken with my phone)
Unfortunately the exhibition ended today :(
Introduction
My name is Mafalda Vasconcelos and I was born in South Africa . I am Portuguese and I've lived most of my life in Mozambique; a sunny and beautiful country with beautiful people.
I recently moved to the Netherlands. (so, so cold)
At the moment I am studying fashion design. I created this blog to try and best share my interests and experiences.
The name "filha do indico" is portuguese and it means "indian's daughter" or "indian's child", indian being the Indian Ocean.
(I want to write so many things but I don't want to make this post too boring.. Oh and the photos were taken in Mozambique. )
Hope you like this :)
